The "smart" watches of yesteryear
The Casio Databank, an 80s wristwatch many call the first smartwatch, sparked a wave of nostalgia when readers shared their own forgotten gems.

Yesterday I tweeted a photo of a Casio brand wristwatch from the 80s that I found forgotten in a drawer. It is a CASIO DATABANK, by some considered the first smartwatch. The tweet was well received and several people shared photos of their watches. I found it so cool that I decided to write this post here, sharing the tweets and photos.
